What? Who? Where? When?

Hello folks! I thought that it was time that I let you know what was going on with the Just A Catholic Dad podcast. As my friends who are regular listeners to the show will know, there’s been a huge upheaval in our lives recently with a move of home. Now, admittedly we’ve only moved a few hundred yards down the road, but we’ve moved to an older, more needy, slightly larger, but fewer-roomed house, which has made setting up, or in fact having any room at all for, my podcasting gear very difficult. This has been made even more difficult by the fact that we’re in a phase of doing some disruptive but essential maintenance to the old place. So far, we’ve had the roof replaced, a new log burner put in, new insulation and a new living room floor put in, and there’s more to come. We also have planning permission in for an extension which will give us the number of rooms we had before we moved. Also, Nicki will shortly be giving up running her Guide Unit, which will take away the one evening I had (when I’m not shift-working) to record.

In the medium term, I will once again have a study-o, and I will be able to regularly podcast again, but until then I’m afraid that recording is going to be a bit hit-and-miss. However, I’m not podfading!! JACD will keep going and I really hope that you can bear with me through this really frustrating time as I value your support and friendship.
